Default Gotta tell you all about my Kroger DEAL!!!

Krogers is having a MEGA sale!! It's quite confusing, but here's what I got! I had sooooo much fun!!

For those who don't have a krogers nearby, the deal is when you buy 10 items, you get 5.00 off. You can combine coupons, and the limit is 30 items:
    I got:

    4 Betty Crocker Muffin Mixes 2.00 each ( 4 - .50 c/os doubled)
    4 Betty Crocker Cookie Pouches 2.00 each ( 4 - .50 c/os doubled)
    4 Progresso Soups 1.50 each (.25 c/os doubled & .50/2 c/os doubled)
    4 CH Sugar 4 lbs 2.00 each (2 .55/2 doubled to 1.00)
    4 Betty Crocker Potato Boxes 1.50 each ( 4 - .35 (I think) c/os doubled)
    2 Knorr Lipton Rice Sides 1.50 (1 - .60/2 doubled to 1.00)
    5 refrigerated Pillsbury Dinner Breads 1.50 (5 .25 (I think) c/os doubled)
    5 refrigerated Pillsbury Cinnamon rolls 1.00 (5 .30 c/os doubled)
2 Frenchs Mustard 1.00 (2 .50 c/os doubled) - they PAID me .50 to take each of these!!!
I ended up buying 34 items, not just 30…UGH. Apparantly I cannot count!!! Guess I ought not complain, cause here are my totals:

    3 – 5.00 P&G deals for 15.00
    1 - 2.00 RR I already had

My Total before all the savings was $78.50
My total saving according to my receipt: $65.39 (86%) !!!!!
    I spent $13.11 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was fun! I cannot WAIT to go back and do it some more!!!
(My figures may not be perfect, the receipt is VERY conufusing, but you get the idea.....it was a GREAT deal!)

Gee I thought I did good at my first run by Kroger on the way home from work yesterday. You've got me beat.

    Here's what I got

    10 boxes of poptarts
    2 French's mustard
    3 bottles Welch's grape juice
    7 jars of peanut butter
    6 jugs of Clorox
    3 bags of pretzels

I had a few coupons (like dollar off ones for the grape juice)

    I spent 20.07

I had some pretty good deals myself.
I did three of the 1.00 item deals and paid 9.23! I also had Rice a Roni natures way coupons for .50 that were doubled, so I paid .07 cents a box for those.
I did the 1.50 deal and paid 9.09 and the 2.00 deal and paid 13.something.
I searched the net for coupons that I needed and also got my mom's inserts. This was by far the best deals that I've gotten. Using the 2.00 off one any size Excedrin from smartsource.com really helped, because you can throw it in as an extra item with any deal and get the excedrin free with an overage of 1.00. I was able to print twice and we have 3 computers between us. My mom also gave me two coupons on Claritan for 6.50 and the 5 ct. was on sale for 4.99, leaving an overage of 1.51 that could be subtracted off any deal. DH was soooo impressed! The sad thing is that I've used all my coupons for the products that were on sale, except those in the 2.50 deal. I might go back if I can figure out how to work this deal with the coupons I have.

Intlmom - you're right the math takes a little bit and the receipts are confusing to read!

I just went yesterday morning and got my 30 items, plus some meats, fresh produce and other things on sale but not part of the mega sale and spent $94 and saved $79. Luckily the sale goes until April 12th, so I'll be heading back again!

Wowsers! Our Kroger is having the same sale, but their flier said it didn't start until tomorrow (Thursday). So I'm making a special trip in to go there and to Aldi for my week's shopping.
