Default What's for Dinner, Easter Saturday?

Well I have finished at work and DBF wants to go for a drive. So we might end up having a quick dinner depending on how late we get home. I was planning on a Sticky Apricot Roast Chicken and vegies. We will probably have this for tomorrows luch (as I'm working tomorrow evening) if we don't have it tonight. Might end up being eggs I think tonight.

It's been snowing here since yesterday! We will have snow cones! HA! No, I'm going home to see my elderly parents. My sister and I will take sloppy joes and mix it. We're also planning a salad, chips, 3 desserts, cheeseball, etc. Have a wonderful HAPPY EASTER!

I cooked some bacon I thawed out a few days ago.

Everyone comes and goes on Saturday, so there's fixins for BLTs if wanted.

Easter Saturday is nothing special here, just called that beause it is the Saturday at Easter. The main tradition here is camping. As it is early Autumn here it is usually the last chance to go camping before winter hits. Mind you many still go camping during winter too.

We went for a drive to see how low the Murray River is (about half and hours drive from us). We also went and checked out Lake Albert.
We took DBF Granny with us too. Dropped in at DBF Aunty's house on the way home and ended up staying for dinner. Chicken wings, peas and potato bake. Cheesecakes for dessert. Most of which was leftovers form her 50th birthday the other week which had been frozen. Surprisingly the Potato bake reheated very well.
