Homeschooling questions???
I don't know much about homeschooling, but after some troubling events recently I am leaning more to it. I have a few questions about it.
1. I am wondering how you begin?
2. Do you answer to a certain person? Who checks to make sure you and your child are progressing?
3. How do you get the curriculum for each child?
4. How does your child graduate? I have one in 9th grade. I am confused as to how he would graduate from homeschool. Does he have to go before an education board of some sort?
Any input would be really helpful and very much appreciated.~*Michelle*~

The first thing you should do is check the HSLDA site for your state's homeschooling requirements. Every single state is different.
http://www.hslda.org/laws/default.asp (Click on your state for detailed information)
There are tons of curriculum choices available based on what you want to do - unit studies, Christian based curriculum, etc. or you might want to choose the unschooling route.
Here are some links that might be helpful with getting started.

Also, check your local library for books about homeschooling. One of the best things you can do is read, read, read.
Good luck!
