Doesnt his school offer after school activities? I would ask the school first then shoot around for other options. Why not cub scouts or something?

~I home school, btw. I've already 'interviewed" half a dozen home school groups and they all seem to follow the same lame 4 activities over and over. Bowling, skating, 4-H and meet-ups at parks. Oh and the occasional 'contest" or 'bee'. *sigh* When I join one next year I'm going to have to start and lead a cool activity I guess.~

We homeschool also. We aren't in any groups though. I budget about $50 to $100 per month for activities. My guys don't "do" sports. But, in the winter, there is homeschool bowling, homeschool rollerskating, homeschool day at a huge indoor play structure, homeschool game day, and field trips. In the summer, there are free movies at a theater, park days, and field trips. Summer is much cheaper on the wallet for activities.
