My used curriculum deals
I went to my first used curriculum sale. Woohoo! I spent about $50 and got most of what I'll need for my 8 and 5 yo. I also hit free boxes for 'stuff'. I'm very pleased; I even found the math I wanted. Along with the library (which is my favorite place) we should be good. I posted here because no one else IRL appreciates the thrill of finding good stuff cheap!
I need to meet more homeschoolers IRL.

I LOVE the used curriculum sales. I'm astonished at the stuff I found in free boxes. Ours was last month and our local library had a used book sale the following week. I got GREAT deals.
Here's what I got at the used curriculum sale (called Books & More because people like to bring things besides "books"):

I'm not a homeschooler...but I when I was in college, getting my teaching degree I was the "resource coordinator" for my group of fellow Science Teaching majors....you would be amazed and how many websites there are out there that will send you free teaching products/posters/lesson plans. I had 3-4 big rubbermaid containers filled with resources by the time i got my degree...then i decided not to teach and never used it LOL. I'll try to find some of the websites i used and put them up here

Working on:
Eating healthy for "Spot"
Saving LOTS of money
Starting to live a more natural life
