Are you concerned about your homeschooled child getting..
Into college or university?
While all 3 of my children are special needs and probably won't attend college, I do wonder how easy it is to get into college with a homeschooling degree.
Do you ever think about that?

My oldest started taking classes at the community college at 13. He took a few here and there for the past 3 1/2 years. He hasn't taken any since the summer, since he decided he wanted to try highschool with his brother. He has 24 credit hours and high school i s really a joke, but he's having fun and the peer pressure isn't getting to him. Getting into the community college was easy. Since he hadn't taken the ACT yet, he took the placement test, which is required for any student who hasn't taken the ACT. He did well considering his age.

I too also plan on sending our children to the local college, its only about 8 miles away. The school district pays for the courses and parents need pay for the books.
As my oldest is Native American, he will get a free college education. YIPPIE

I think that dd will either go to a Christian college which usually accepts homeschool students with open arms, or she will go to the local community college which also will not have a problem with accepting a homeschool child.
