need advice.

We bought my son a gift the other day and i haven't wrapped it yet. well he was going through the cupboards and found it, i caught him standing there staring at it. I can't beleive he found it, but really in this house there is no place to hide anything, so anyway he found it and when i yelled at him (i was in shock) he stood there looking somemore. so this is the question do i wrap it up and give it to him still on christmas morning or do i wrap it up and wait until christmas night and have him wonder what happened to it. *he is 13 and he knows better than to go snooping around the cupboards.*

Heaven, my dd accidentally found a gift in the car that I was hiding. I told her that since she found it, I was taking it back to the store. So that's what she thinks. I wrapped it up though, and she'll get it anyway.

he is going to get it i am just so mad is it mean for them to think they are not getting it and give it to them later.

I don't think it's mean. It's fun to play head games with your kids. Lord knows my mom did it to me.

I did tell him it is going back to the store. Now I am the meanest person on the face of the earth. i think snooping was defantly involved with this.

My DD wasn't snooping, she really found it by accident. If she was snooping, then I think I would take it back for real.
