    Question Surplus?

I usually don't spend a lot of time on this forum but...My DH and I went to a warehouse here in town (Sacramento) that is run by the state to sell their surplus materials. While I was there I kept thinking what a great place it would be for parents that homeschool. I got some nice paperback books there for .20 each. Shared some of them with Laine's preschool teacher. They also had all kinds of teacher's manuals, readers, desks, tables, shelves, binders and monitors, etc. Well, anyway you get the picture! I thought that if you don't already go to a state surplus warehouse of some kind, this might be a good resource for you to obtain materials at a good price. Hope this helps someone.

Thanks for sharing that. We don't have a surplus like that here but hopefully some of the homeschool moms can find one!!
