Do you feel laws are strict enough for homeschoolers in your state/prov?
I'm just curious about this. We have great homeschooling laws in our province, not too strict and yet making homeschoolers accountable with twice yearly reports of their homeschooling year.
What are your thoughts in regards to this question?

I live in Washington State and we are required to test our children once a year with standardized tests or have them evaluated by a certified teacher when they reach age 8, but we do not have to turn those tests into the school district. We are also required to turn a "intent to Homeschool" form into our local school district when our kids reach age 8. I think the laws are pretty fair here and not too restrictive, yet do keep parents accountable!
