    Question What is the most challenging subject you teach your kids

    Mine has got to be math, hands down. I'm not good at math and thank goodness for the teacher's books and websites that help in the math area. It also helps that I have a savant in math.

    Whats your most challenging area you find in teaching your kids at home?

    To play nice!!! OK, academically it's composition. Not my strong point at all. To combat this, a friend and and I are doing a video writing course together with our children called Excellence in Writing and we all love it.

    PHYSICS!!!!!!! I just cannot get it to make any sense to me. I know part of the reason is because I have no desire to learn it. Thankfully dh loves it so he is teaching ds.

    Definitely Math, didn't do well in it in school at all and yet every job I had had to do with math!! I am fine until highschool math, my second choice would be science, again I'm fine until about high school and you are right CJ, thank goodness for the interenet and answer keys!!

    Sentence diagramming, ugh, we've been doing this for three years now! And algebra, I don't understand it at all and don't know how I got through it in school. Dh is a math whiz so he teaches math to dd, otherwise I just don't think we'd be homeschooling because I just couldn't handle the math part.
