Wow Misty, that's early. I've been working with Isaac and he says things like dada and mama, but I'm not counting it because he hasn't really associated saying it with what it means. Although, now that he's crawling I can say go see daddy and he goes straight to dh. It's really cute! I'm sure Morgan will be saying mama in no time!

    Misty,
I think all kids say dada first because it's easier to form that sound than mama (at least that is what I tell myslef so I don't feel so bad!) I love when the kids start talking, it's so sweet!

My Madison who was also born in March said Dada first but I don't count it as well as she doesn't think of it as her fathers name. It is just an easier sound to make.

Everybody told me that kids 'say' dada first as it's not a word just a sound that they happen to make before the others - however my first DS said nana first (which really pleased his father! NOT lol) And not ALL of my kids said dada anyway, so I think that's just another kid story that people tell

It is really cute when they 'start' to talk - it's just such a shame they carry on LOL.

I won't share what mine can say now! LOL

Enjoy it while it IS cute Misty
