    Default Speaking of education......

Even though this has more to do with "colleges" per say--than education.....

How would you feel if the college that your student attends over sells their parking spaces by 2500 permits? (meaning they sell 2500 more than they have spaces for cars to park) Would you be really infuriated when you learn that and when your student gets a parking ticket b/c there is NOwhere to park other than the no parking slots for faculty, etc....?

Dd's college actually does this. They over sell the permits and then they give untold numbers of tickets every-single-day of the year. It's outrageous if you ask me. They get anywhere from $35-50 per ticket. That's if you find it before they tow your car. She attends a huge school on a huge campus. She walks miles everyday to and from her car to attend class b/c there is NO parking on campus even though she has a permit. It's highway robbery, I say.

That's stupid...are you going to protest Lisa? That is just a bunch of bs.Ya can't be the only parent upset about this . GO Lisa GO!!!

They do have plenty of parking at my dd's school though. These colleges get you coming & going if they can.

I'd be filing a complaint with the school. There has to be some kind of a law because you should not be allowed to sell a commodity that you don't have. It's called fraud!
