Question How many $$ did you dish out for school supplies?

Was it a large amount or were you able to get some supplies on sale?

For three kids we spent about $65 And we didn't even by the three big boxes each of kleenex! 2nd day of school Aimee lost her pencil bag of markers and gel pens, scissors , etc. so I am going to have to spend $$ to replace those!!!

Some things I was able to salvage from last year for Wyatt and others I found on sale. I shopped Staples, Big Lots and Walmart. The pencils were Easter pencils that were .20 a pack back in the spring.

    Let's see:

    school registration/fees/and such $167

supplies for 2 in HS - $52 and change. I got lots on sale, but those scientific calculators and such get costly.

I guess so far I'm lucky...last child in school and lots of "left overs" at home so I've spent $5....now if we talk clothes and shoes I'm at $200 and hoping I'm done.

Only about $5 so far. They don't know what they need until they actually start classes. We don't get a supplies list beforehand.
