Default wheeee second day of school

and ds's bus showed up today!
it didn't come yesterday so i had to drive him to school. dd and ds go to different schools and ds's is across town. so i had to quickly drop dd off then drive ds to his school. busy crazy morning yesterday.
but it came today so i got him off to school then walked dd to school and i got to walk her to her class room this time. much calmer day today!

how's it going for everyone else's kids? are your send offs going smoothly or are ya still a bit teary eyed?

btw ds is in 3rd grade and dd in 1st.

My kids are in gr. 8, 9 and 12. They were all very happy to go back yesterday and except for some minor screw ups in time tables everything went smoothly. I was feeling a bit unneeded yesterday but all three and their father assured my that I needed to be at home and not go back to work

we start earlier here cuz we have snow days and such - my kids absolutely love school - its so awesome!! And because we live in such a tiny town our elem, middle, and high are all together so they all ride the same bus - Since they were born ( at 15 months apart) I told them you are your own little gang - you need to always look out for each other and with the arrangement of their schools they can!! Its so great!! Their is alot of gang stuff here in Colorado (and even more in Phoenix - where I'm from - which is why we came her to have kids) so this is something that really concerns me!! We even have police dogs and locker searches at our tiny school!

I don't have children, but our school's start tomorrow (or rather today. lol)

I'm sure they are looking forward to going back. Just driving through town these last couple of days, I have seen a lot of kids on thier porches looking very bored.

Remember everyone STOP for a stopped school bus!
