Your son should not have to put up with that. Best of luck to you. I hope you get it straightened out. I know what it is like to have a bad teacher and a principal that would do nothing. Thank god, my son is not in that school anymore, and the principal is gone. My two younger sons have to go through there, but thank goodness they do not have to deal with that principal.
I too never wanted to cause any waves with the problems, but you get to a point where you have to tell the people involved off. You know it is bad when my grandmother also told off the principal and the teacher.

I'm sorry Lucie. I hope the director realizes how bad this is and changes him to another class.
That man doesn't sound like a very good teacher. I was hoping for Francois sake that after last school year he wouldn't have to deal with him as a teacher again.

Lucie, Not sure of what the rules are in Canada, but in the states a teacher CANNOT! verbally abuse any child, a child shall NOT be repremanded for the teachers stupidity. I know first hand, we had some problems last year with Daniel, come to find out he was getting in trouble because the teacher and assistant princapal didn't like him. The story soon changed when I went to the school board, told them that if they wouldn't do anything about it I would go to the State.
I refuse to let any teacher throw my childs chance in life away! Many of the teachers I know are simply warm bodies filling space in the class room. Hope all works out for you.
