Default Check out all your libraries have to offer!

    Hi Ladies,
Now you all know that I am just a library nut!!!! I even went so far as to get myself a part time job at one. Libraries today have so much to offer. They are no longer just a place to borrow books. Now many have lots of services including electronic resources that are available to anyone with a library card. At my library I can access car repair manuals, all kinds of tests online, see what is playing the movies, use the encarta encyclopedias, ask a librarian any reference question 24 hours a day/7 days a week, find out what kinds of services are available in my community, access the latest health information, etc.. I'm going to include a link to the library system that I work for (we were recently recognized as one of the top 100 libraries in the nation). I work for the Garfield Branch (small rural branch of the library). Check out all that we have to offer and then check and see what wonderful resources your own library system offers!

BTW, I'm cross posting this in several forums.

I love libraries, too! We have a lovely library system, here, too!
I love that I can access my account online and see what's due when and even renew online if needed. Every Tues. ds (4 1/2) and I head there for preschool story time. Did I mention that I love libraries?!

Wow, thanks for sharing. I really need to use the local library more often--it really is a great resource.
