i signed up for my "first" class

well on the 24 of this month i will start my college classes.i decided to take it "easy" and take 1 class..anatomy & physiology1. i took this before but too much time has passed and i need to retake it so it shouldnt be too bad..

i had to pay 40.00 extra because i couldnt get into an evening class because they were all full..and i had to wait until they ran a payment check and anyone who was not paid was dropped..

im so excited, i kept thanking everyone. some of the people at work think im crazy but i feel so sorry for them..not that i think im better than them but because they dont believe they are capable of doing the same..i mean not everyone has the optunity to go back to school but all of us can do it..

another thing about work.. i applied for the scholor ship and almost got derailed..it turns out my former supervisor never turned in my paper work..so i had to redo everything and got approved to move on ..so now i have to get everything filled out by my high schools and two colleges that i went to (2yr schools and i completed the programs).

now im worried about paying for it but i dont care if i have to take out loans. i have to do this,,i cant see my self working in a supermarket for 20 + yrs(not that there is anything wrong with that) just i want to try to do more..

That is wonderful news and BRAVO for you!! It seems so complicated but I guess if you just dive in and go for it, it all happens. I'm also looking to go to school. Its so discouraging but I need to do something. Your post was very encouraging.

im lucky.. i live 2 min,walking distance really of my local community college..i know it seems hard but u can do it..mrs cornbread did it, we can do it too.
