rainy day/snow day actvity for young kids
You can draw hopscotch on a cheap white vinyl tablecloth and play inside.

Sara that's a good idea. Would be frugal and reusable and make the kids happy too.
We do something similar but let dd draw on the covered patio downstairs as long as it's not to cold. She was having some trouble remembering dates for history and I even let her write them in chalk on the patio. It washed right off with the waterhose.
