Default Has anyone used Wordly Wise 3000?

I saw this in the Rock Solid catalog and would love some feedback on it if anyone has used it. I'm looking at Book A (first grade).

    Also, is there a website?

    Thanks!

We are using Wordly Wise book #1 and book #5. The kids aren't impressed but I definitely am.

Here is a link where you can even download samples. We never used book ABC so I can't comment on them, but I really like Wordly Wise.

Thank you! I just glanced at some of the samples and they look good. Is this series all vocabulary or does it cover spelling as well? (Rock Solid has it slassified under spelling so I'm confused now). I will definitely be looking at this at the convention!

Kim I don't know about the ABC's but the rest is vocabulary.

One of the best I've found for spelling is Word Building by ACE.
Dd really had trouble with spelling until I got this program for her. Her spelling has improved 100% this year through working this program.

I found this site that has homeschooling supplies at discounted prices. Are you familiar with it?

I've seen a few of their products before, but haven't looked at that one. I'll look for it in the convention vendor hall as well. Thanks!

I havent' checked out the pennywise site yet, but rainbow resource has good prices on HS supplies.

I think Wordly Wise is great too. Everything we've done w/ it is vocab, though, no spelling.

For spelling, I LOVE Spelling Workout by Modern Curriculum Press. It is awesome! There are a weeks worth of lessons for each set of "list words". It also covers some phonics, and proof-reading. The price is very reasonable too.
