I am back in school and it really feels good to be there. I have registered for American Sign Language and an excercise class. The sign language class is so much fun. The professor is a kind old gentleman of 73 with a wonderful sense of humor. He has a greatway of breaking the ice in the class. We have only met twice, the first time being an introducation to the course and last night was our first real learning experience. We learned the ASL finger spelling alphabet. I never realized that facial expression plays such a vital part in being understood.
I have also enrolled in a free excercise gym class and am working out two nights a week. I am having fun being there and just wanted to share. I am also wondering if anyone here is hearing impaired or knows ASL? I would love to share what I am learning!
