I'm a Homeschooler :)
Hi everyone! I am new here. I have 2 kids, a 6 1/2 year old & an almost 3 year old.
I started homeschooling Jared last year in Kindergarten. He has asthma & when he gets a cold or sick at all, he gets VERY sick. He started at a public school & was so sick in just the first month of being there.
Last year, we kind of did our own thing & I really didn't like it at all. This year, I found the California Virtual Academy (CAVA) and we use the K12 curriculum & we really like it

Hi Tara! We use COVA, Colorado Virtual Academy, same thing with the K-12, and we love it too! I have a now 6 year old (just turned on Wednesday). He's doing great and is a first grader now.

Welcome Tara,
I homeschool a 14 yr old, an 11 yr.old, and an 8 yr.old.
And way back in the beginning......TaDa......the reason I started to look into homeschooling is because my 14 yr. old is Anaphylactically allergic to Peanuts and there was so provincial school protocol in place at that time.
And my second has vision issues.......so to make a long story short....I now homeschool, too.

I homeschool my kindergartener and I also have an almost 2 year old too.
We don't use K12, but we are having a blast as well.

wow that is neat to see! I love homeschooling, it's one of the things that looking back, was the best thing we ever did with the kids.
