Hi, I normally lurk here, my girls being mostly grown now. My youngest graduates this year...probably this month. She has expressly asked NOT to have a party for her graduation. Do you have any ideas what we might do to create a memorable day...in the good sense?

follow her wishes, ask her what to do to mark the occaision. My homeschool grads did their big ceremony in June when they got their BSc. degrees from the local university.
How about her fav. meal and dessert, take some special pics to mark the special day, present her with a special gift and just generally let her know how proud you are of her.

Exactly what I was going to say. Congratulations to her and big hug for the Mom who's baby is growing up.
