Talking Tuesday @ home(school)

We had a great day today. We had devotions (a Bible moral story and Bible reading) and sang songs, that lasted about an hour. We read from a science text together, and Bubba paid attention! He actually answered one of the questions right! I can't wait till his speech improves a little more so we can begin learning to read. I think he'll blow us away.

Anyway, we got Reading, Handwriting, Bible and Math done. If dd wouldn't dawdle so, we'd get a lot more done. ~Sigh~ It's my fault too...I should be consistent with her.

Can't wait till tomorrow.

Tuesdays are a preschool day so we just do review kind of stuff. We are now working each day on the day of the week and the month of the year though and the Pledge of Allegiance as well. Yesterday was review worksheets covering tracing from top to bottom, identifying the tallest, identifying pairs, longest, and shortest. We also read a Bible verse, a short story from My Early Bible Steps magazine, and a David And Goliath book.

We had a really good day yesterday too. We did review of math and language arts to see what the kids may have lost over the summer months. For the very first time, they didn't lose anything we had learnt last year.

We also had Bible and history/geography in the afternoon (their favorite subjects).

Its going to be a fun year.
