    Default Wednesday @ home

Yesterday was obviously just a prototype.

Dd has dawdled all day long, and taken advantage of my distraction by the computer to watch TV. It's ok, I'll have my "revenge"...double the work tomorrow.

Soon she'll be using an all-computer curriculum, so she'll be on the comp most of the day...and I'll have no distractions

Anyhoo, so far we've gotten Handwriting, Bible Study-Reading, and some History. Ugh. Guess she and I will both be working on math together after supper. Tomorrow night's my first Algebra exam.

Gina, first of all will be saying a prayer for you that you pass your test. I know you can do it.

We had a good day today. Were waiting for dd's math book to arrive, so were doing review. She did struggle a bit with dividing but its coming along. She did well with her reading.

Ds sailed through his language arts and were waiting for his math book too.

We had a great history lesson, along with Bible lesson and were also reading about the Vikings. Quite interesting!!

Were also working on pictures for ds. Last night he picked the "meal" one out for meal so its a start. Will continue to work on this one for the remainder of the week and then add another picture to see if he can still pick out "meal".

    Next....

We started our day off with the day of the week, month of the year, and Pledge of Allegiance. We read 4 books about rhinos, a poem, and ds did two worksheets (count and write 2, identify objects that are different) and a tracing page (r-h-i-n-o-c-e-r-o-s four times). We also identified several African animals in one of the books we read and got out a world map and located Africa.

We read our daily Bible verse, two Bible stories, and sang Jesus Loves Me.
