I have a confession
I can't seem to get DH on board with the envelope system. He SAYS he will do it but he won't hand over the check card. So the other day we stopped at a movie rental box and I had to use his check card (which just supported him not wanting to get rid of it darn it!) and his card was bent and *almost* cracked. Well I was a little "rough" with it and it had a unfortunate "accident" LOL! Sorry DH! We are both cheapskates so neither of us wants to spend the $7 (!!!) they charge you to replace it. Yay haha

I R Amused
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

I can't believe the bank would charge you to replace the debit card, unless it's excessive replacement.
We've never been charged for replacement debit cards.McD

Yes, I just gave it a nudge, that's it! lol!
And it IS outrageous that the bank charges SEVEN DOLLARS to replace a card! It is PNC by the way. Most do not, especially for normal wear and tear! Mine got misplaced months ago and I never replaced it and it has actually been a blessing in disguise because it gave me the push I needed to go all cash, and I have saved so much money!Hi, I'm Katie

A lot of people think because they are using a debit card instead of a credit card they are being wise with their money. I don't find that to be true. If you make a budget and stick to it you will be okay with credit or debit cards. However, a good many people really need to use only cash to keep their finances under control. Impulse buying is death to any budget.

Are you asking how to pay bills online; not sure the way you stated it. My bank told me to do it through the bank instead of each creditor that way only your bank has the information instead of each creditor having your bank account #. I was nervous about it, but now glad I did. I've saved soooooo much in stamps alone.
You may have to go to the bank or call them to set it up. I think I did; its been awhile.

Well you don't need an actual credit card to still have an online bank account. I still have my bank account with my online bill pay and everything, but I just don't use my card for purchases- just cash. As far as paying bills online, I still just log in to my bank as usual.
