GRRR!!! My envelope's not coming out right!

Ok, this time I'm doing the real envelope system, not just keeping track of it on paper. I totaled up my receipts and totaled up my envelope, and it's $11.61 short!!

Now, I know of one day I slipped money out of it for fast food, but I'm allowing for that. And I know I saved my receipts. This happen to anyone else??

hmmm...either someone else is slipping money out too and not telling you or you lost a receipt!

One thing about debit cards-at least I had solid records!

Yeah, this happens to me. Usually it's tea at the local cafe that does it. If it's a weird number under $10, I know the culprit.

Another one is buying stamps. Stores often don't give receipts for those, and you have to ask.

Other culprits could be bus fare and laundry costs, if you live in an apartment or have to pay to do your laundry.
