It's an interesting read. And she has a pages of "rules" about how they defined real food.

Along the lines of the gas challenge to myself, also started a grocery challenge. Handy little calendar on my phone, just input on the date I bought groceries, amount, and going to see how long I can last on it.

For the record, I LOATHE grocery shopping and have the tendency to go long stretches between shopping. In as much, I haven't been catching the great deals on sales like I used to. And really can't anymore due to no pantry or deep freezer or the space in this little house for either. So, with that in mind, I'm armed with only one side-by-side sized freezer and 5 cabinets in which to store food and spices. So here goes, let the bashing begin lol....

Date: May 4th, 2013
Scene of the crime: local United Supermarket
Money spent: $215
Number of people to feed: 1 and occasionally a guest (daughter shows up a lot, friends, etc... I like to cook for them)
Showdown: the amount of time before a big shopping expedition is needed. *

*there will be need for fresh produce and bread type of purchases, will add the amount spent accordingly.

LLLETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
