He does have his moments
Last Dh declared that Fridays will be HIS night for cooking, that it was Mom's(me) day off from cooking.

Hehe..it's kinda funny, it's sweet. He's off Fridays, and it's bbq season now, and Friday's are my busiest day, with the daycare, as well as trying to get ready for camping on the weekends. So he decided that he's going to take one night a week to cook, that doesn't involve dialing the phone. We also discussed the possibility that he does 1 meal while we're camping. It'll likely be lunch as his mom and I do suppers together. AND I just found out we have a bbq for camping. It's been stored in the old trailer. So next weekend it's getting scrubbed up and set up! Anyway, he conceded that once we're done with the construction and landscaping stuff we want to get done, he'll prep a lunch. I usually make a cooked breakfast when we're out there, lunch and supper, Saturday and Sunday. So it'll be nice to have a little more help. I'd get the kids to do some cooking but i don't like them cooking on a gas stove.

We went camping for the first time this year this past weekend. It was too much fun.
My dh does most of the cooking (on the grill) any time we camp. This past weekend
he grilled steaks Friday night, bacon Sat. morning (and I made the eggs and biscuits), chicken Sat. night, and hot dogs on Sunday afternoon before we came home. Grilled food when you are camping just tastes so yummy
Anyway, maybe once you get camping regularly he might even cook more so you can just be the
It is great that he is going to do some of the cooking

What a sweetie. You're a lucky girl.
" May we never let the things we can’t have or don’t have or shouldn’t have spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have. As we value our happiness, let us not forget it. One of the greatest lessons in life is learning to be happy without the things we cannot or should not have."
