Default I felt like I just lied to a friend

We got into a little argument about that I had dialed her in the wee hours of the morning. To make a long story short, I had told her that I was sleeping. When I left, the only thing I can think of is maybe when I woke up and noticed that my cellphone was still on, sometimes when I go to turn it off, I accidently push a number from my speed dial list. I may of accidently called her without meaning to. So, I just took her off of my contact list so I don't accidently do that again.

if she's your buddy, why would she be mad you called her in the morning? accident or otherwise? I cant imagine being mad at my friends if they called me before...or after dawn.

So, can't you go look at your numbers dialed and see if you did call her. If you did..well, call her back and say "Oh my gosh..I really am sorry I just looked at my numbers dialed and sure enough I did call you. All I can think is that I pushed your number when I went to turn it off. I'm really sorry..I didn't do it on purpose."
And surely goodness she won't be mad! How could you be mad about that???
Give it a try..no need to lie about it..if you did it you did it. Wasn't like you called her because you were drunk in the middle of the night....right?

I checked my cellphone log and I didn't call her in the wee hours of the morning. I did call and left a voicemail message to her the day before in the afternoon . I just hope she has the brains to check her cellphone log to see that I didn't because she acted like I was lying.

Aren't friends weird sometimes? I had a friend who got mad at me because I called her and after 3 rings and no answer, I hung up. I didn't leave a message because it wasn't an emergency, I just wanted to gab with her. The next day she told me that if I wasn't going to leave a message, I shouldn't call anymore. What's up with that?

Nah.. you didn't lie. You just didn't know it at the time- that you weren't sleeping.

Call your friend and tell her. Just don't wait until 3 am! lol

    ugg ~ I feel you.

only I get griped at for not answering my phone --- last time I checked, it's MY phone & I pay the bill (well, hubby does, but you know what I mean) so I don't HAVE to answer it.
