Aaaarrrrrrggggg !!!!!!

My In-Laws have been visiting they have been here a week now and will be leaving for home on the 17th..... They are wonderful people and I love them dearly.... but I am a little irritated... FIL asked to use my new HP digital camera, he's had it the better part of the week.... These thing eat up batteries, so I purchased 12 AA rechargeable and a charger, when we showed him how to use it we said ... These are rechargeable batteries when they get low, put them in this charger and plug into the wall, replace with the fresh batteries we have in the front pocket, don't throw these away !!! Well he did !!! He threw away all of my rechargeable batteries as they went dead..... 12 of the !!!
$50.00 worth of batteries.... He called to say he'd be bringing back the camera cuz it's too expensive to keep buying batteries for.... dh calmly asked where the batteries were and he told us.... He hasn't offered to buy new ones and I am sure he won't... He's not a bad guy, I just know he won't be replacing them..... GGGGGGRRRRRRRRR...... I just had to sound off !!!!! I am out so much money on this visit.... MIL likes to sleep on Percale sheets, so had to but those.... They have special diets so I buy special food and they don't want it.... We don't seem to know when they'll be here, so we gave them keys to the house and FIL said we'll just wait til you guys come home.. if your out we'll wait... So now dh won't go anywhere, one of us has to be here just in case they come...

I feel your pain...lol. Repeat after me, "it's only till the 17th, it's only till the 17th, it's only till the 17th". You are much stronger than I would be, I think I would have gone off the deep end by now!

oh poor Lori if you lived closer dear i would have you over here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do feel bad for you, really i would have been killing someone for throwing away my batteries, sorry i am not helping i know. good luck and it is only until the 17th, Dear rant and rave all you want, lord knows that i do.

Rant and rave all you want, its better than going off on them, not sure they don't need it though, and remember the 17th isn't that far off...You can make it..

They are great people and they have never mistreated me..... I am just irrated about my batteries and all the prep I went through for them for nothing !!!

hubby would REALLY be upset! he is cheaper than me!

they should definitely offer to replace them!

Oh man I would be peeved too. I think you're right though - I doubt he'll ever offer to replace those expensive batteries. I'll hazard a guess he doesn't even realize how expensive they are and it's not like you can tell him without looking bad either....

Chalk it up to a learning experience I suppose....
