Phew! I've been thinking about you all day. So very glad everything turned out fine.

    that's wonderful news!!

I had asked my nurse practitioner about the tests where they poke the finger (the next county over got a whole bunch of them - some lawsuit or something) and she had said they are unreliable. Dd had to have blood taken out of her arm when she had it. They will be doing it again here August at her 2 yr checkup.

Thank you all so much for thinking of us and sending your kind thoughts!

We took the whole family (including grandparents!) out for ice cream last night to celebrate!

It's funny that nothing has actually changed between Monday and today, except my perspective!

My baby had a high lead level fromt he finger test. No one had told me that it could have been from a handling a toy prior. Her second test was normal as well.
