Guess what we are getting Paige next b-day

..............................Paige will turn 4 on Feb. 10th (can you all believe it)

Anyway, for her b-day next year we were planning on getting her one of those wooden playground sets. However, Joe wants to try to get it up and going in late fall and let it be her Christmas present this year. Therefore when Paige turns 4 next year we are giving her a baby sibling to play with

Baby number 2 is expected to make an appearence on March 10th.

We told Paige and she said: "I want a baby sister, I don't like boy's"

I bet Paige is going to enjoy her birthday present for many years to come!! That is one present that will last for some time and then some.

Thanks everyone. We are thrilled. We started trying in mid June and just like with Paige, got pregnant right away. I was stressing that it was going to take awhile but it didn't.

Last year my neighbor had a little girl and Paige didn't want me going anywhere near it, now she likes the baby and decided she wanted one, so we figured it was time to start again.

I am just hoping the next 5 weeks go by quick and get me in the 2nd trimester.

I really haven't had any morning sickness (same with Paige) but last Sunday was pretty bad. I got up went to the sofa to rest. Went to the store for comfort foods. Came home, made potato soup. Took a nap, ate leftover soup and went to bed...lol

Joe didn't suspect a thing. I wanted to wait and surprise him with ultrasound pics after my appointment Wed. And surprised he was....lol

Well I told him. I had the ultrasound pictures in an envelope and since I had a few customers I handed it to him and said "I need to show you something"

He took them out, was like "No way....." and then asked me if I was going to be able to work at Christmas.

He knew Joe and I wanted another baby so he figured it was only a matter of time til I told him. He's just happy I'm not planning on leaving all together.

Joe said he is already convinced that its going to be a girl. He said he has been out number in the male/female ratio in the house the whole time we've been together, why even things up now.....lol

Congratulatiions Kat! saw this yesterday and only hovered over to see what it was about & saw something about a swingset. But then this morning I saw you posted in Pregnancy so I had to look thru your recent posts because I didn't remember you mentioning being pregnant & now I know,lol.

And tell Joe that he could be like my dad- I'm the oldest of four girls, with no brothers.... AND we only had one bathroom. My poor dad was way outnumbered, LOL!

Yeah Chad feels the same way here. We are expecting a girl in Oct and all the animals...a dog, a cat, 2 of 4 reptiles(the other 2 are to small to tell-but he's saying they prob are) and 2 sugar gliders(they are twins) are girls...I had a male cat, but he passed away earlier this yr. Chad jokes about the estrogen level...lol

Oh and one of my friends is due like a week after me and she has an 8 yr old daughter who is so ready to be a big sister...but she wanted a brother and is upset they are having a girl...
