Do you greet your spouse at the door when they come home from work?
I am curious if you make a point of having things picked up, smiling and greeting, asking about his day, fixing your hair or makeup before he gets home, etc etc.
Curious over here.

Well, considering I can hear his muffler coming from a mile away, I am always aware when he is coming home. When he starts turning the car around in front of the house, the dog takes notice and starts barking, which makes dd start asking "Daddy home?" She runs for the door, which I open and then she runs down the driveway to inform him what is for dinner. (Every night she tells him we are having pizza for dinner...he knows better by now.) Do I have the house cleaned up or myself all prettied up? Not a chance. I've usually just gotten home an hour before, started dinner, changed into comfy clothes, and have been playing with dd before he gets home. We share our days over dinner and while playing with dd after dinner.

Well it depends on the day. I always greet him, but sometimes I don't look all the good but just a tad bit frazzled. It depends on the type of day Michael has had.
I do love to ask him though how his day went and if there was anything new at work. He in return always ask me in there is anything new at the village. Gotta love that.
I read a book a number of years ago that said to wrap yourself in cellophane wrap and meet him at the door like that. I always wanted to do that, but it wouldn't be too frugal. I'd need to get waaaaaaaay too much cellophane!!

LOL!! Me to Mamma

I greet him at the door sometimes.I keep the door locked,so if I hear him come up,I'll go unlock it for him and give him a kiss
Jackson is usually already down for a nap,so toys are picked up.But I don't freshen makeup or check my hair. I usually don't even have on makeup LOL and my hair's in a pony tail.

When I am on my days off, I always greet my dh at the door when he comes home. We work different shifts, so I don't get to do this much.

I try to greet my Dh at the door. However he arrives at the most chaotic times. LOL. The kids are just home from school and Daniel is always cranky for some reason. Doesn't matter if it is 3 or 5. As far as looking nice NO. I try but I fail most of the time. I figure if it isn't covered in baby spit, thrown food,or juice it's all good.
