    Default Anyone Used Elimination Communication?

    I am expectng my 4rth and he will be in cloth diapers. However, I am interested in elimination communication. Has anyone here used it successfully? What would you recommend?

    I've also been reading about it on diaper swappers and based on their suggestions I think I might try to use the cues at certain times during the day, like before she eats and at diaper changes.

    I am trying it just now with my third after watching two friends who EC with their kids. One adopted a girl from China at 10m old and she came to the states with a bell that she goes potty too... I didn't believe EC till I saw that! Lily (the adopted girl) inspired my friend who successfully EC with poo her daughter. It is so odd seeing a 5m old use a toilet!

    I too cloth diaper and would love to not change or scrub poopy diapers. My youngest is just three weeks old and we have been making a sound when we know she is relieving herself.

    How long does it take before they begin to associate the sound with the action?
