    Default Kids say the darndest things...

    DS2 Can't say Muffin or cupcake for the life of him. It always comes out "muffcake" as in..."Momma, I want Muffcakes!". It usually has people around us giggling. Sometimes we'll get the muffled replies from people in line at the bakery (people giggling, or uncles telling him under their breath "yeah? you and every other man on the planet"...ugh they're helpful aren't they?? I digress) or at church at the coffee counter.

    Do your kids have funny words they use or words they use that just don't fit into what they are trying to say? I'd love to hear stories!

    DD has problems with certain pronunciations...

    Our all-time fav is ...

    She had difficulties with certain sounds... t, d, r... replacing them with other sounds.

    She wanted to watch something on tv, but she had to try to pronounce it before we would turn it on.

    The Old Man and I were trying to get her to repeat after us...

    Us- duh duh duh duh
    Her- dah dah dah dah

    Us- duh duh duh-aw-g
    her- dah dah dah-aw-g

    She got it... but of course when we asked her what she wanted to watch...

    She stood up as tall as a 3 year old could and in a very loud and clear voice said...

    Forget the kids..naw just joking.. mine always pop out a funny.
    But my husband did the latest yesterday.. they went looking for second hand ds games.. and when they got back, I said, " where did you go?" My husband said the "porn shops" HUH!!!!! He meant pawn shop, we laughed so much my sides were hurting.......
