4th update on BIL and kids

Well I expected to hear something after the birthday party but what I heard is SO pathetic, it is almost laughable.

Firstly BIL and psycho were travelling in the same car as my niece, her hubby and my DH's sister.
When they all left our house it seems that psycho started to scream at BIL about what a horrible family he had (don't forget that his sister etc. were also in the car) and that she would NOT be going back.
The sister started to get really upset in the car but thought wisely not to say anything.

Now here comes the pathetic part. I find this so unbelievable.
BIL went home with psycho and their kid and he phoned his mom (my mother in law) to complain about what we had done. (He is almost 50.)

(We know all this because we called DH's sister yesterday evening to wish her a happy birthday and she had heard this from my mother in law.)

Know in your heart that you did the right thing. While times might be tense, just remember that it is her issue and not your families!

And if you don't remember that....I'm calling my mommy and telling on you!

I still can't get over her slamming his family... in FRONT of his sister and niece! ... and she told Mommy!!!!!

Why is it that second spouses don't get it. The first spouse will be part of their lives all of their lives if there is children involved. If the first spouse was simi decent.
I feel sorry for all the children. They can't get to know their sibling. I know the one child is a holy terror. Which is really sad. I never could understand how an adult child could go and whine to their parent. That is so juvenile.

Poor BIL, he must have major back pain (from bending over backwards trying to please that woman).

With all the high drama from this woman, I'm almost disappointed that this is as lame as the story ends...... **yawn** hahahahhaha - seriously, she is quite a piece of work!

Your DH should call his brother and tell him that if he has something to say regarding the two of you, he should be a man and tell him directly instead of acting like an 8-year-old and calling their mother. For cryin' out loud, these people are acting like they are in junior high school.

EH..... NO!!!!!

They have invited my parents in law for Christmas Brunch and that is it.

My father in law is in very bad health and I know that my mother in law has not told father in law about this last drama.
I just hope (or is this TOO much to ask) that dear psycho will keep her mouth shut during the brunch.

Coincidentially I spoke to DH's sister this afternoon and she has also said that after the screaming match in the car and psycho saying what a horrible family she was part of, she has also had it.
She said - how dare she say that about our family - especially since I was sitting there with my daughter. She also said that the language that was used was really terrible - could not even be repeated. The only thing that DH's sister said to her at that moment was that she should take into account that her own 4 year son could hear everything that she said including the bad language. My DH's sister then got a tirade over her as well about how she mind her own business. So DH's sister has had it with psycho as well and will not let her in the house either. DH's sister left the car crying from frustration.

I don't think the brunch is a good idea!! You know she isn't going to be able to keep her mouth shut. She's been nothing but trouble for your entire family. I'm glad you and your SIL have had enough of her games!! Maybe the rest of the family will come around (meaning BIL)!

Well, she certainly is charming isn't she? I still think that you did the right thing inviting whomever your children desired at their party and for lack of better wordage the banshee can shut her piehole and behave in a semi respectful manner.
