Smile iso fun things for big brother zachary

I am wondering for those mommies that had a preschool aged or older child when bringing a new baby into the family, what types of fun activities did you do for the oldest to kind of welcome the new baby or make the older child feel more a part of things?
I am thinking of maybe making tshirts together, but am drawing a blank on any other fun ideas.

With the holidays coming, baking cookies could be fun. Even little boys like to do this!

When we brought DD2 home from the hospital, DD1 was only 2 1/2 yrs old. We brought a present in with the baby just for her, and told her that Raechel brought her a present.

Also, when we brought Raechel home, I had my mom carry her in so I could hug Ashlee when I came in.

    Just some ideas.

When my youngest was born, dd was 5, we let her decorate a onesie with fabric paint, she made decorations with the help of Dad...blew up balloons, made a banner and pictures.. Helped make dinner...We also got her a disposable camera and let her take her own photos..........

I always give the older ones a big giant button that reads I'm the big brother.
