    Question 1st Christmas w/Birth Mother - Help!

    My husband met his birth mother this past summer and they have become quite close. Since it is their 1st Christmas together we would really like to get her something special. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks for any help!

    wow what a special time for them both. What kind of things does she like? there are so many great ideas here. Does she cook you could make up some gift jars, there is lori's wonderful lamps. gosh the thoughts are endless or you could make up a photo album of your husband growing up and include photos of them now too. Have him add just little thoughts into it. it wouldn't be expensive but i bet she would love it.

    I've seen some really sweet charm bracelets maybe something like that with a charm that had to do with important things she missed..(baby bottles, A little tricycle,graduation, champagne glasses for youer wedding....i dont know it sounded good..i am going to do this for my girls when they each turn 16...

    Love the photo album idea, maybe add one of those sappy "Mom" poems and have a professional photo done of the both of them together.
