Tyler is sick....
I think its his first flu.

He threw up during his nap... what a mess.
And 4 more times since then. Poor little guy. He cries when it happens... I think it scares him.
I been giving him juice and crackers... he ate a little grilled cheese for supper. Other than that I have him resting on the couch watching The Brave Little Toaster.
He needs good thoughts and get well wishes.

Oh Sherry, poor you and poor little Tyler. Sure hope he is feeling better soon. Praying you don't get sick also.
Whenever my kids got the flu, I gave them 7-up (stale). It helps to keep fluids in them. They don't seem to throw it up like they do the juice. I would put some in a glass and leave it out for a bit. They never had a problem drinking it and it works wonders.

awww. Zackie had the pukies last week too. I ended up taking him into the dr. I got so worried. He just has never been a "puker".
Dr. had him on a clear liquid diet. (we got some pedia pops and liquid and jello jigglers etc) Said if he could hold that down for 4 hours, he could then progress to a bland diet. (rice, toast, crackers, ginger ale, etc) Then once he held the bland diet for 24 hrs, he was ok for something heavier.
It was just horrible. It lasted over a week, but luckily no fever was coupled with it.
Hoping Tyler gets better soon and that you all get some rest and that not everyone gets sick.

Sherry, I feel so sorry for you and Tyler. Nothing is more heart aching than when your child is sick or hurting and you can't fix them. Just give him plenty of clear liquids ( so he doesn't get dehydrated) and lots of love. I hope and pray that he feels better soon. My thoughts and prayers are with you two.
