    Question iso good children's magazines

I'd like to get a couple of subscriptions for Zachary. Something he can look forward to arriving and enjoy receiving. I know Nick Jr has a magazine, but I don't know if it's any good. Family Fun looks good too. Has anyone seen it or have ay other recommendations? I thought this would make a nice Christmas gift.

    TIA,
    Sara

Family Fun is awesome, but more of a parent magazine. Highlights is good, it has stories and activities for all ages. He's probably not old enough for Nickelodeon's magazine. Turtle used to be another good preschool one.

Ranger Rick is still out...not sure if he's old enough for it yet, but I remember you telling me that he likes animals.

Family fun is an awesome mag, I get it but it is really for parent but has great ideas in there....

I would recommend Highlights, I'm not sure about the Nick one I think it might be for a lit of an older child but I don't know...

Clubhouse Jr is good. It is a christian magazine if that makes a difference. I used to love Highlights as a kid. I like Nick Jr also. HTH

Not sure how old your son is but I would suggest Babybug if he's a toddler or Click if he is preschool.

Good luck. I know I've had a hard time finding a good magazine for my 13 year old daughter. Seventeen isn't what it used to be!!!
    Finally settled on Discovery Girls.

Forgot to add, ebay has magazine subscriptions and back issues. Dd loves Stone Soup and it's hard to find around here. Got her 8 back issues on ebay for 5.25 plus S&H.
