    Question How many generations were in your family?

    We had 5 generations on the birth of our oldest son and our oldest dd. Unfortunately, my great grandmother died shortly after dd was born. This was on my side.

    On my dh's side, he had 4 generations when our oldest son was born and within a year, his grandmother died.

    How many generations do you have.

    I have a 5 generation picture of me when I was 5. Right now there are 4 generations on my husbands side.

    There are four generations in both my DH and my families. His mother is still living and so is my father.
