    Question OB or midwife?

I used an OB, but I have a friend that swears by her midwife, and she's about to have #6. Which do you use?

for me it was/is definitely an OB. i just feel more comfortable being in the hospital setting. (incase anything goes wrong) when ds was born, there were problems. his heart-rate went way down with every contraction. the dr. had to use forceps to pull him out and the pain was soooo bad, i couldn't push when she was pulling on him. well, he wasn't crying much after he was born, they had him on oxygen and a saline IV. he was in the special care nursery and i didn't get to see him for 3 hrs after he was born!! anyway, i'm just glad we were in a hospital setting, where there were special drs. and nurses to take care of him instantly!! everything is fine with him now.
i don't mean to knock anyone that chooses a midwife, but for myself and my baby due in march, i choose an OB! (has to be a woman OB though )
