    Smile Kathryn Got Braces Today...

...she looks great. I wish they were this simple when I had them. I think they're hardly noticeable compared to when I had them.

And yes, my budget for this sort of cost was out of wack. Had to use the CC...word to the wise: keep up to date on your medical insurance policy's details. Dave's policy at work changed, and we've already used up the orthodontic benefit ($1K/family/lifetime??? Great to have some coverage, but that's a drop in the bucket...by the time I'm done paying for both of their braces/orthodontic care, we'll have spent at least $12K out of pocket )

Anyway, I'm going to post before and after pictures. :camera:

Wow, those look great! When I had them .... about 26 years ago.... they were hideous.

My dd is going to need them in about 5 years.

She looks great with them!!!!! Very pretty daughter I noticed they were much easier to get on and off when ds has his (recently came off).

I know you'll have that difference on the cc gone asap.

Oh Michelle she's growing up so fast and looks very much the teenager. Love that smile and the pink. My neice changes the color of her bands all the time & often matches them to holidays, lol.

You are rockin' that smile Kathryn!

    Hug to you Michelle!!

I just wanted to say that you did something important for her (and she will be thankful). I am 34 and got braces 6 months ago because my parents refused to spend the money when I was younger. Mine was due to a impacted tooth that never come through. My front canine tooth was about to fall out over it. $8K later I am still paying for it...

I'm amazed at how much braces have changed over my lifetime.
