    Default Toddler Travel...

We will be leaving tomorrow for PA.... almost 1000 miles from here.

Anyone have any tried and true ways to keep a toddler (almost 2 years old) entertained on a long trip?

I plan to have crayons and paper nearby for him... books... snacks...

My son likes the musical books where they can push the picture and a song comes out. I also recommend little child music tapes or cd's then they can sing along. Make frequent poddy stops so you can stretch your legs and he can run around a bit. We moved from michigan to colorado when my first son was 2 years old. He was so excited he just looked around at everything, he did really well. Just make sure you avoid letting him get tired or hungry then they have a meltdown, but I am sure you know that already .

    Good Luck and happy holidays!

    Thanks Nealy!

I know last trip he really enjoyed stopping at the truck stops and looking at everything. The video games, snack machines, huge restrooms, all of the people, the gift shops... its all new and amazing to him.
He slept alot the other times we've done this trip... hopefully he will this time too.
