Nope. None. I have 1 small regret with my daughters middle name because she isn't very graceful and her middle name is Grace. Eh. But other than that no regrets at all.

I did not know, 19 years ago, how popular the name Emily would become. At the time I knew of no one named that. I thought it was unique and old fashioned. It turned out to be soooo common. My DD went to school with another Emily with the same LAST name as well. They were actually in the same classes! I still love the name, but wish it wasn't so popular. The good thing is that she can get anything with her name on it.
My son's name is Miles, and I totally still like his name but, I regret not calling him Mason because a neighbour's son had that name. They ended up moving away anyway :-)

No regrets. I just wish people would get my daughter's name correct. She is often called by a similarly spelled, more popular name.

I love my daughters name "Erin Elizabeth" especially since my dh middle name is "Aaron" (we planned it that way) but I dont like the fact that when I say the name people always assume it is a boys name. So I have to explain I have a BOY named Alex and a GIRL named Erin...NOT two boys.

Sarah, Rosie, Ben and Kathleen - no regrets, everyone can spell and pronounce them.
(Although one of them should have had the middle name Beelzebub - but that's another thread)

i thought i was pretty creative - i took MY middle name and both gramma's middle names for my daughter's name!!! Renee Lianne, i love the way it rolls off the tongue, at all different volume levels! LOL
her only complaint is that time in my life when i rearranged condensed and changed MY name(Tess is not my given name) so that Renee was no longer my middle name. i TRIED to explain i GAVE it to her, but she didn't buy it. just one more thing to be forever miffed at mom about i guess....

My name is Kimberly. When I was little people in the family tried to shorten it to Kim or Kimmy. My mother was dead set that NO ONE was to call me anything other then Kimberly. Now I am 30 and everyone in the family still calls me Kimberly & I go by Kim. Some people try to call me Kimmy, but I can't stand that name. Reminds me of Kimmy Gibbler from Full House lol.
I don't have any regrets with my daughters name, Olivia June. I loved Olivia and even though it took 4 days to have DH agree after she was born, that is her name. June is after myself, my mother & my grandmother. People (mainly my MIL) tried to shorten her name to Livi, Libby and OH MY GOSH!! My hormones went crazy. "I did not spend 10 months pregnant & 4 more days to pick a name for you to call her something else. Her name is Olivia you WILL call her that" LOL
As for our soon to be son? Well I like Liam & Hayden but again DH is not willing to chose a name until we see what he looks like. His middle name will be Kenneth after our favorite uncle!
I personally love Isabella, but can't stand Izzy for a nickname. That is my oppnion though and if you love the name go for it!!Married to my highschool sweetheart, DD 6 DS 9 months
