The doctor that said you can't get shingles under 50 needs to go back to medical school. My son and daughter both had chicken pox and then just a couple of years later my son got shingles. He was 7 years old. Rare for a child to have shingles but they can get them. My sons grandmother had shingles just a couple of weeks before and the doctor was sure ds caught it from her. Little guy was in so much pain. He's 23 now and still talks about how painful it was.

...so yeah I'd be very upset if a child is sent to school and the parents know they have chickenpox.
