    Default Parent Teacher Conferences Time

We have Wesley's last preschool parent teacher conference today. Coincidentally, his kindergarten round-up is tomorrow. We have always had good parent/teacher conferences, that usually include a few humerous Wesleyisms. Last conference included a little story about how Wesley got all the kids in his group to recreate The Three Little Pigs, complete with blocks to build houses during gym time.

This has me wondering how everyone else's parent teacher conferences go. I know my mom used to have to sit through conferences for all four of us kids and she'd always come back with questions for my oldest brother: "Casey, why did you throw pickles at the principal? Casey, why did you pee on the wall?" Younger brother would always have glowing recommendations on his personality and his never give up attitude. Youngest brother would have mixed reviews. As for me, I was always given the highest of glowing reviews.

    Any stories to share?

I don't think they even did conferences when I was a kid, LOL.

But my kids...I remember my first preschool conference with DS#1, I sat down and teahcer said to me, 'oh, you're Joe's mother, oh he's just a delight!' I seriously looked down at my conference slip (time) in my lap to make sure she had the right kid. LOL! Thank God kids are better at school than at home!

I just went to my 6th grade daughter's conference last week. It's basically been the same thing since preschool. She is an excellent student, very smart, good grades, a natural leader, etc. But she talks too much, is too social, and gets easily distracted because she talks to her friends too much! Especially now that she's in middle school, her friends are of the utmost importance! She is almost always the teacher's pet, even in the subjects she isn't the best in (Math and Spanish). She is charming that way, I guess. LOL.
