Potty Training?
I dont know if this is the right spot but I need some advice on potty training. My dd was be 3 in September and has absolutely no interest in the potty. I've tried praise, treats, stickers etc and nothing. She can pee on it but only if I take her there every few hours she wont tell me when she needs to go. And she's never Pooped on it before. She never tells me when her diaper is dirty or wet I swear she would sit in it for weeks if I let her. I started putting panties on her so shed really feel the wet if she peed and she didn't care at all! Didn't bother her one bit, it's driving me crazy!! Any advice or tips?

I can offer empathy and some advice as to what has worked in our difficult case. My almost 4 year old is only now starting to show signs of being ready. She could wear a diaper, wet and poopy, until it was falling off before she would tell us she needed a diaper change and often she wouldn't tell us anyway. She keeps saying she'll potty train when she's as big as her older sister. HA! Or she says she is potty trained. She goes potty in her diaper.
One thing we discovered is that her definition of things was different from ours. See potty training above and the following example: We will ask her if she is wet. No. I'm not wet. To her that meant, "No. I am not peeing at this moment." To us, that meant her diaper or undies should still be dry.
We have been using the technique of telling her she's a big girl and if she doesn't start using the potty on her own, there are a lot of big girl things she won't be able to do like swim parties, or learning to ride a bike or playing on the big playground. We have also switched from saying potty training to toilet training, emphasizing that it is using the toilet not going potty that is important.
It is starting to work. She was in undies the other day then stopped what she was doing and said "I need to go potty." She ran to the bathroom. Yes, her undies were damp but it was the first time she had ever stopped herself in the middle of peeing (and in the middle of doing something) and finished in the bathroom.
Wishing you lots of patience and good luck! I hope you child gets it before age 4.MissSeetonFan

just always encourage.. do it first thing in morning, right before nap, after nap, and before bed..then when you get that down pat, start asking every 30 min or so.. i wouldnt push it.. just make sure you give her plenty of opportunity.. everyone does it on their own..eventually.. my girl did it in one week at 3 , my son took til4

I've potty trained 2 girls and 3 boys.. In my case the boys were much easier.. My oldest son took off his diaper and just started sitting on his potty, I wasn't planning on doing it yet, just got the potty, I guess he was ready..
As for the girls, they were more stubborn, just didn't seem to care. We just took it easy and kept after it, taking them to the potty every so often and having them run around without a diaper (to like the feel of not having one on), etc.. It all seemed to work..Mom of 4

Last summer when DD was almost 3 we had already enrolled her in preschool and we were getting nervous that she wouldn't "get it" and we would lose all our deposits. I'm not quite sure what we did, but it worked well enough for her to go to school.
What the school did, which I really felt sealed the deal, was they had a chart and they would make each child to the potty periodically throughout the day. It really got in their minds "oh, yeah, I've gotta do THAT!"
She did have about 4 accidents spread throughout the school year, but she wasn't "habitual" so they didn't make a big deal of it.Working on Our Debt a Day at a Time:

One of my girls was very very stubborn. She would not stop playing to use the potty so with two weeks before preschool starting I got extreme. It was summer so she was only allowed to play on the tile in the kitchen and I had her in just a sundress (no undies at all). If she had an accident I didn't scold I just made her stop playing to help clean the floor and herself. She only had to clean it up twice before stopping to use the potty became a priority for her.

do not use pull ups
do not switch back and forth it tells the child it is ok to pee in your pants
It is ok to use a diaper or pull up at night night training comes later.
for many the potty party works.
spend the day in a room with a tile floor doing lots of fun thing like playdough and painting give her LOTS of Juice, popsicles, even a soda really push those liquids so she has to go alot and can be successfulMeg
cc debt free YEAH on to the mortage
