Why oh why does my dh set the alarm for 6:00 and not get up until 7:00?? If I'm lucky enough to be able to go back to sleep, my dreams are so screwed up that when I wake again I'm more tired than the first time.

It's always been this way...I never know when he truly needs to get up because he always sets it wayyyyyy in advance so he can lay in bed before getting up. This drives me crazy!!!! An hour ahead of time??? UGH!

Sorry Michelle, it's those little things that can drive you up the wall. With my guy it's closing the medicine cabinet or closet door loudly when I am sleeping. No reason for that!Snoring too! grr.
Makes me wonder what we do that drives them nuts...

i used to do that when i worked, but i would only set it for 15 min early. really that was only so i could hit the snooze a couple times before i actually HAD to get up!!

I set mine early too Misty. I only hit it once and then I am up. I have to get up to make sure everyone else does or we would all be late.

Michelle! I hope venting made you feel better!

My dh wakes up at 5h30 for work. He makes no noise, but I still wake up...when I could sleep until 6h30. Oh well, what can I do. My sleep is so easily disturbed....

Now, why don't you change the alarm in secret, for 6h45 am? (hehehe)

LOL Lucie I should do that...I have no problem with a LITTLE early, but a whole hour? That's a bit much....

Chelle, I feel for you, mine is the same way, only he wants me to hit the snooze every 7 minutes during that hour until he gets up! The thing is he works for himself and can go to work anytime he wants too! So I hit it one time, the next time I turn it off and go back to sleep..lol.

michelle, mine is the same way!! It bugs me to no end! And I get all stressed out when he ends up being late, thinking I should have helped him get up you know? Ugh!

My heart goes out to you Chelle, and the others who have to go thru this...... Mine does it too !!!! It drives me nuts... When the alarm goes off, I get up !!!! I'm afraid I would fall asleep and be late....

Count me in here-his alarm starts going off at 4 a.m.-he hits the snooze every 10 minutes until 5 a.m.!!! I don't generally have to be up until 6:30 so it makes me crazy, especially since it sometimes wakes the little one up.

I knew my dh was weird....His alarm is set for 3am...I hit snooze ONE time and before it goes off again,he's up.He gets up,showers,gets dressed,gets his coffee and out the door at 3:25.............

I on the other hand set my alarm for 6:40 and hit snooze till 7:10 LOL
