    Question Did I do the right thing?

    Ok, Friday my DD, who is in kindergarten, came home and told me that this boy had tried to french kiss her. I said ok, what is french kissing? She said, " It's when you stick your tongue in somebody else's mouth." She said this little girl had showed them all how to do it. So, today I told the girls mom about it. I said it really wasn't a big deal but that I just wanted her to know what her daughter was telling the other kids. ~~~~Now, my question is, Did I do the right thing in telling her? I would want to know if it were Baylie telling the other kids how to french kiss. But maybe I just shouldn't have said anything. Would you have told hte mother? Thanks!

    Absolutely--I wouldn't want my dd saying things like that or knowing about them till much later. Now hopefully the mom will address it properly with her dd.

    most definitely would have told....Dont you hate the parents that want to shoot the messenger though..I had to do something similar a couple yrs ago and the mom got pissed at me!!

    I would have said something too. I can't amagine a mother saying that it isn't a big deal. I would have set that child down and had a chat with her.

    I think you did the right thing. I would have also talked to the teacher so he/she would know to keep an extra eye on the kissers and kissees.
